ResidSocial purchases social hotels to renovate them and transform them into solidarity housing residences, enabling 1,400 people to live each day in dignified conditions and to progress in their inclusion journey. These are primarily families with young children (23% of residents are children under 3 years old), referred by the Samu Social to its 19 residences in the Paris region.
Beyond housing, ResidSocial offers a comprehensive support program built on a network of partner associations (19 regional partners and 152 local partners), addressing all residents' needs: healthcare, nutrition, hygiene, French language learning, tutoring, legal and administrative support, job search assistance, and more.
To double its impact within 5 years, ResidSocial plans to open 20 new residences and sought to bring together several impact investors to finance this growth. Following Amundi Finance&Solidarité, Swen Capital Partners, Colam Impact, and Inco, Mutuelles Impact (a fund initiated by Mutualité Française, managed by XAnge in partnership with Impactivist) is pleased to contribute to ResidSocial's development.

“We were impressed to see that a private player like ResidSocial is raising the quality standards in social housing, combining impact ambition with financial excellence”

“There is no sustainable healthcare system without improving health determinants, chief among which is housing. One of the core missions of the Mutuelles Impact fund is to act in primary prevention, particularly for the most vulnerable. Our investment in ResidSocial — the only private ESUS (Solidarity Company of Social Utility) in the emergency housing sector — therefore makes complete sense, and will enable even more families to be supported while helping them enter a solid inclusion pathway.”

About ResidSocial - ResidSocial, a solidarity housing provider, is a company recognized for its social utility that acquires run-down prefecture hotels and transforms them into residential housing facilities. ResidSocial has set itself a triple mission: to create a "home" for housed families so they can rebuild their family life; to foster social bonds through the appointment of a ResidManager — a true house manager responsible for day-to-day issues — alongside resident representatives and community moments; and to facilitate the inclusion of families through a range of effective associative partnerships designed to meet residents' priority needs. ResidSocial currently manages 19 residences housing 1,400 people, and intends to double in size over the next 3 years.
